How does the treatment work?

The first stage of Invisalign® treatment plan involves making an appointment with Dr Amin to assess your needs. This appointment is your chance to learn more about Invisalign® and ask Dr Amin any questions you may have.

Once you have decided to proceed with the treatment, Dr Amin will take a digital scan of your teeth using advanced medical imaging technology and the Invisalign® software. Not only will Dr Amin be able to formulate your treatment plan using this system, but he can also show you what your teeth should look like when your treatment is over.

He will send the impressions to the laboratory, which will send back your custom Invisalign® aligners in about 2 weeks. When you receive your aligners, simply wear the first set for 20-22 hours a day over the course of 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, switch to the next aligner set in the series and wear it for another 2 weeks.

During this time, you will visit Dr Amin for regular check-ups so he can monitor your teeth’s movement and keep a record of your progress. Once you have reached the end of your treatment plan, you need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth in their new position.
